Diff content in diff view

When a file is selected in the commit history, then sometimes the diff view do not show the diff content, only a one liner. After moving the vertical splitter (UI is resized), then the content is also displayed

Yes, I see that in one of my Eclipses, too. Have been looking for a cause a few times already, to no avail. But your screengrab with the large history view finally set me on the right track.

If the text to be shown is small enough to fit the existing view, no layout of the text viewers occurred, so sometimes they were too small. As a result one might not see the whole commit message; often only the first line with the commit ID.

The manual resize then triggers a re-layout, after which the texts are fully visible.

This should fix this problem.

I've seen this problem since a very long time, but yesterday I discovered the "resize-fix"

you can install the fixed version from the nightly build's update site
