Description Marc Khouzam CLA 2016-03-03 10:16:04 EST
Bug 487121 remove the 'connect' button from the debug toolbar. The user must now use the context-menu or the OS Resources view.

Considering this, and the fact that we also have a "Debug New Executable..." context-menu, I recommend removing the "New..." button from the connect dialogue.

I had added this "New..." button before Mikhail implemented the "Debug New Executable..." menu item. I had kept it because it could be triggered more quickly by using the 'connect' button of the toolbar, but now that its gone, I see now value in having the "New" button in the dialogue.

I've opened bug 490013 to move the ProcessPrompter to not be a status handler any more, as it is confusing.

I've update the N&N about the removal of the "New..." button from the Connect dialogue.
