I am leaving IBM for a new job opportunity that is not Eclipse related. My last day at IBM is Jan 5, 2016. I need to step down from all project lead and PMC positions at eclipse.org, and complete paperwork to transition my commit rights under a new employer agreement. Thanks for your service to the projects. In addition to everything that you've already listed, you are an appointed member of the Architecture Council and Security Team. You will retain these appointments until you tell me otherwise.

Good luck, John, and thanks for all your great work throughout all these years. I really enjoyed working with you in the early 2000s, and learned quite a bit in the process, not only the technical stuff, but how to communicate effectively (with users and and with other committers) in an OSS project. I have also been a happy user of your work in the Eclipse Platform and Orion. Wish you luck at your new gig/project, looking forward to learn what is next for you.

John - sad to see you go. I did not see it mentioned, but I assume you will continue on the Eclipse Board as committer representative for now, or ?
