Let's deprecate the Hudson sandbox. Originally it was a place where we could test plugins and sandbox Hudson upgrades. Unfortunately, it's evolved into an alternate location to run production builds. With HIPP we don't need a sandbox anymore -- we can simply deploy a HIPP instance, do whatever testing we need, then tear it down. I would like to get rid of the sandbox by the year's end, and have all the current jobs running on HIPP or on the production instance.
Could we then please get the gerrit-trigger plugin installed with standard HIPP instances so that we can migrate validation builds to our HIPP server ?

We are allowing the Gerrit plugin on HIPP instances on a per request basis but it won't be installed by the default image as not every project needs this plugin. I went ahead and added this plugin to the egit HIPP instance. If any other projects need this plugin installed on their HIPP instance let me know in your project HIPP bug.
> Let's deprecate the Hudson sandbox. I'd like to propose retirement of the sandbox March 31, 2014. We have more HIPP servers coming in, and this will give Sandbox users 6 months to migrate. Based on what I've seen so far, migrating from the Sandbox to HIPP appears to be quite painless.

I shutdown the Hudson sandbox this morning. Only project that still has not confirmed if they need to migrate off is CDO in bug 426176.
I've turned the sandbox vserver off.
